EVENT DETAILS

BRUNSWICK ARTISTS BAR // FREE ENTRY // 4PM

A lazy late Sunday arvo of fabulous alt-country from two of the local scene’s finest proponents.

RICH WEBB BAND – 5:15pm

Born in the embers of Willie Nelson’s smouldering campfire, Rich Webb Band have been playing regularly across Naarm this year, delivering singles ‘Love Someone’ and ‘I Don’t Mind at All (Bring on Summer) to plenty of radio attention. Rich’s last album ‘Le Rayon Vert’ was the 2019 Alt-Country Album of the Year, and he’s saddling up for this one with folks you will know well already – Matt Dixon on lead guitar, Alics Gate-Eastley on bass/backing vocals and Jim Carden on drums/backing vocals. They have a new album landing soon and they’ll be bringing all that and more to the Artists’ Bar for this one.

JAMES STEWART – 4:30pm

Another who needs no introduction. You’ll have seen James ply his magic with the Warner Brothers, Overnight Jones, T-Bones, Four Door Shitbox and from his solo records ‘Carcane’ and ‘HQ Rear Window’. He’ll be flying solo here bringing you the best of his music in an intimate fashion, knocking out a set of stripped back electric numbers of classics sourced from his own songbook. Space is limited at the Artists’ Bar, so get in early and grab yourself a pew.
